Our teachers love coming to work each day and feel that God has lead them to teach children. We want to work with the parents to provide the best care possible for each child and their family. We understand that each child has individual needs and strive to meet those needs by looking to Christ for our example. All staff are CPR/First Aid Certified, have cleared Criminal Records and meet State requirements and standards. Continuing education in areas such as Safety, Health, Family Communication, Learning Environment, and Child Development are studied by our teachers. We believe that a child’s environment is important to allow the child a safe, nurturing space to grow and learn. In each of our classrooms we have age appropriate toys, and activities that will enable your child to development and grow. Toddler Room Here at Loving to Learn, our toddler program serves children 1 to 2 1/2 years. The teacher to child ratio is 1 to 7. Energy, Independence, and Curiosity, characterize toddlers. Our toddler teachers help assist the children to channel these abilities by creating an age appropriate environment. We offer a daily schedule of activities such as worship, story time, art, music, dramatic play and lots of physical activities inside and outside. Toddlers are constantly growing and becoming confident in new tasks and we allow them the appropriate setting to accomplish that.         Preschool Room Description Our preschool program serves children 2 1/2- 3 years. The teacher to child ratio is 1-10. Preschoolers are very independent and want to show everyone how they can do things without help. Our program is set up so that each child can express their independence, try new skills and build a creative imagination. We understand that each child is unique in their abilities and strive to meet the needs of each child individually. We provide various learning activities where kids can grow emotionally, physically, spiritually and intellectually. Pre-K Room Description In our Pre-k room we serve children ages 4-5 years. The teacher to child ratio is 1-10. We believe that children learn through their play and socials skills are important to learn before entering school. We incorporate teaching social skills through role playing, getting down on the kids level when speaking to them, and Centers that encourage learning in Art, language and imagination. Kindergarten Extension Program We serve children currently in half day kindergarten. The teacher to child ratio is 1-15,-15. Our kindergarten extension program is a unique opportunity for your child to continue learning in a fun creative environment. We provide activities that coincide with what they are learning in kindergarten. Rest time, is a time that teachers read to the kids, which reinforces pre-reading skills. Free play is a favorite! Kids are given time to chose from various activities that enhance their imagination and creativity. School Age Program We serve children Kindergarten through 12 years of age. The teacher to child ratio is 1-15. Our school age program is a high quality Christian environment. Our staff nurtures children and reinforces values of honesty, respect and responsibility. We encourage the children to learn while having fun. Various activities are provided such as art, painting, computer, drama, games, and outside or gym activities. Conflict resolution is handled in a Christ like manner. It is our goal to provide a fun and safe environment where kids look forward to coming before and after school. We also provide care on non-school days.
